On the Pulse: A look at Little Portugal

My favourite spots to visit and what to expect...

where's Waldo: a triangle that starts at College/Dundas to College/Dovercourt to Dovercourt/King then back to College along the train tracks.

the locals: an eclectic mix of traditional Portuguese immigrants with an abundance of creative types starting families.

my pics:
i just wanna dance...Lula lounge (dinner and live music!!..think Salsa & Samba)
i have a sweet tooth...Brazilian Bakeries along Dundas have the best pasteries
quirky cafe: Naco Gallery Cafe (check out their books in the back room)
after work drinks...Gladstone hotel, Drake are the go-to's but I like more quaint places like the bars on Dovercourt like Reposado.

real estate: two- and three- storey Victorian semis, Edwardian houses that typically need renovations. Today's cheapest house is a semi for $400,000.
